when I first moved back to Vancouver, from Hawaii, we drove to a Mexican restaurant, that we had been to before, and it was dark, no signs and looked vacant. thinking it went out of business, we drove to olive garden and it was a repeat of what we had just seen (dark, no signs, looked vacant). about a year later, I drove by the Mexican restaurant and it was there—exactly as before. I went in and asked if they had closed at one time and they said no. then I had the same experience with the olive garden. it had never closed.
