Joie de vivre- Pardon My French

Travel Trouble Free- 7 Stealthy Tips for Airline Trips

I never get sick of my travels and always enjoy visiting magical places. Here are some of my trip tips for less stress:

• Use a personal item (18"×14"×8" backpack) as your only luggage. I actually use a smaller backpack- Columbia Packable (18.1"×12.6"×4").
• Furnish yourself with extra items, such as a phone (use a lanyard); a drawstring napsack- wear under a light raincoat/windbreaker and later use as a handy catchall; a fanny pack (push toward your back).
• Dress in layers (lightens up backpack). I wear a t-shirt, turtleneck, cardigan, rain jacket/windbreaker, stretch corduroy or velvet pants, compression socks and slip on shoes.
• Pack items in your neck pillow, if needed.
• Open carry your coat, umbrella, reading material, neck pillow and hat (do not use up space in the backpack).
• Always open carry a bag containing delicious food and snacks. Airplane food causes bloating and other digestive problems.
• Carry phone cord and some toiletries in jacket pockets.

Following these stealthy airline travel tips is more budget friendly, saves time (no need to check a bag, then have to visit baggage claim) and there's no chance of lost luggage.
