I know she misses her former owners and they miss her too, so I do my best to be her emotional support animal and maid. I fell asleep the other night, exhausted and emotional after she took me for a total of 6 walks throughout the day and night, starting at 6am. however, when I woke crying out from a nightmare, she came running in, put her face in my face and gave it a lick. 😭
