the only scene I remember from the big valley, which I thought was very stupid, was the "torture" scene, using light. it's similar to how magas and other cult indoctrinated people sometimes react to the truth. I must remember, allow them the last word, let it go and walk away. otherwise, I will be walking in darkness. if i listen to them, i will toy with them and this can get out of hand.
