As a person with solophilia and fatigue, I'm not interested in the finer details of procedures for everyday living that people concern themselves with. For example, years ago, I learned the bathroom is cleaner than the kitchen, because of meat juices, contaminated with feces, urine and worse being smeared all over the counter tops, cutting boards and utensils used for cooking. How is this done? Through the cleaning process. Huh? I know!
I'm no germaphobe, but I think that's disgusting. I also think carpet can be pretty gross and prefer to not walk on it barefoot. I like bare floors without rugs, because I want clean floors, but don't want to deal with cleaning or shaking out the rugs, even though they're pretty and cozy.
But if I make salad in a big bowl, I'm not going to wash it with soap and water, afterward. I'm only going to rinse it. If I eat a veggie sandwich on a plate, I'm only going to rinse it, afterward.
If I'm with somebody who wants everything washed thoroughly with soap and water, I will do that for them, but will not use their gross dish cloth. I will use a paper towel, which works just fine on dishes.
